I'm Due

I'm due!...for a blog update. Oh yeah, and I'm due to have a baby on March 15th, too. That one's harder to forget since my pants can't be zipped anymore and I have been spending most of my summer trying to sleep off the sensation of riding a non-stop roller coaster. Blogs are much more subtle, fortunately, and can be ignored. But the stomach-tumbling part of my pregnancy seems to be over and I can finally give this little blog some much needed attention!
In between me lying face down on the floor most often, here are some things that we have been doing the past three months:

We had a picnic up Emmigration Canyon for my birthday and Cory rescued some little birds from Grandpa Brad's and Grandma Mary's window-well.

Mollie and Cousin Caleb got to have a sleep over, decorate bikes at our ward breakfast, and played in water from our local fire engine on the 24th of July.

In August, Mollie took swimming lessons with her cute friend, Leila, at our neighbor's pool.

The next one is random, I know, but Mollie went through a phase where she kept stuffing everything she could inside her pajamas. I have no idea what's in there. It's okay with me if I never find out.

Then, our Mollie Moo had a birthday on August 27th and turned 4. Woo wee, we sure had a party! After we opened presents as a family, we had 15 little friends (all under the age of 6 - yes, I needed some Tylenol afterwards) over for an "Under the Sea" party in our backyard. We collected seashells, played on the giant waterslide and in a kiddie pool, and made an "aquarium" on the wall of our shed.

I think Mollie had fun.

Cory took Mollie on a daddy-daughter hike to Secret Lake. Mollie got ready by herself. Then somehow, someone coaxed her into wearing something else and they went on their adventure.

Over Labor Day weekend, we stayed at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City with Cory's family. It was wonderful!

Then in September, Mollie started preschool at the Virginia Tanner Fine Arts preschool at the U. This is her on her first day.

And later we had ice cream with cousins Hallie and Abby to celebrate.

We made our pilgrimage to the Utah State Fair. Mollie rode the giant slide. Sometimes she doesn't like to have her picture taken.

Then Cory took Mollie on another daddy-daughter date to the U game. He bought her a cheerleader outfit and she met some new friends. Go Utes!

It's going to be a great fall!

I love how the blue tongue wasn't really mentioned. Must be pretty commonplace. I am so excited that you are due BTW. What a blessing!
