Nothing in Particular

I've got no reason to post right now other than I recently took some pictures of these two cuties.

Cutie #1
My sister Ang getting ready Junior Prom this past Saturday. I did her make up and Mollie loved looking at her beautiful dress. Ang was four when Cory and I got married. I can't believe how time has flown.

Cutie #2
My Mollie. In red. My favorite little kid in my favorite color. Dress compliments of cousins Katie and Olivia.

Hippity Hop

We had a great Easter. On Saturday, we had an easter egg hunt with the Mulcock side of the family. After finding a good number of eggs, Mollie disappeared for the majority of the afternoon playing with cousins and sloughing off various articles of clothing around Aunt Eileen's house. I hate that she is ALWAYS taking off her clothes, but I guess when she's ready to party, she takes it seriously. Who can be bothered with clothes? Hopefully, we pray, this is just a stage.

Then on Easter we had a low-key, but very nice day. We did a little egg hunt in our house. Mollie took a "quality, not quantity" approach. Upon finding each egg, she had to open it, eat whatever was in it (but only if it was M&Ms, everything else she passed up), and THEN proceed in the search. We went to church, took naps and then went to Grandma Mary's and Grandpa Brad's for a traditional Easter dinner: homemade Cafe Rio pork.
Happy Easter!

Biography at 2 1/2 Years Old

I need to post some Easter pics, but before I get around to that, I had a perfect epiphany today. I was thinking to myself, "If I had to describe Mollie to someone, what words would I use?" Because, frankly, I sometimes don't think there are words to describe Mollie.

And then I had a vision of a pig. A pig named Olivia. A pig named Olivia who is eerily similar to Mollie. How did the author of this book know that one day I would raise Olivia?

And to prove this point further, on the way home from somewhere the other day, Mollie announced to me in the car, "Mommy, you know, you really wear me out, but I love you anyway." Right back at ya Oliv-Mollie.
