Today my boss was telling me about her daughter's "blob." It took me a minute to figure out what she meant (a deadbeat boyfriend? an oil slick in her garage? a dab of butter on her toast? a misfired bottle of glue? a cheap haircut?) The wheels kept turning and then I figured it out.

I hope you enjoy reading my blob.

Oh, the places we've been!

This past weekend I created a wall hanging of our eight most favorite places. I meant to put it together as an anniversay present for Cory, but I couldn't wait to give it to him when it was finished. It was SO FUN to reminicse about all the places we've been able to go (thanks to Cory's flight benefits with Delta). What a beautiful, beautiful world! I wish I could save my eyes for my posterity to look through and see what I've been able to see. I guess that's what cameras are for (thank you, Mr. Polaroid, or Mr. Edison or Thomas Jefferson...whichever of you guys came up with the idea).

So here are our top nine places...in no particular order. I threw in the ninth for the blog only because the picture frame I bought only fit eight pictures. But it counts!

Parc Guell, Barcelona Spain

Williamsburg, Virginia

Goblin Valley, Utah

Volcanoes National Park, Big Island, Hawaii

Monhegan Island, Maine

Morella, Spain

Pompeii, Italy

Rio Cuale, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Coit Tower, San Francisco, California

Valentine's day is for sure my favorite holiday. I am not so much into the romance as I am into the fun of sending valentine's cards and getting out all of my red decorations and just all of the surprises! Everyone is sneaking around being do-gooders and it's cool! Of course, Cory always makes it pretty romantic for me too. He got up at 4:30 a.m. to shovel our walks, go running, make raspberry cheesecake french toast, and feed Mollie breakfast. Then later I recieved chocolates and a dozen long stemmed roses. What a guy! I love Love.

Mollie received some Valentine's day cards in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Mulcock, Cousin Brandon, Cousins Hallie and Abby and her friend Adam Burt. She has been carrying them around with her for two days now. She tucks them into her little purse like her own personal credit cards. So fun!

A few days ago Cory left his ipod on the couch. It was silent in the living room, which is always cause for alarm because it means Mollie is busy doing something naughty-ish. This is what we caught her doing....

She's got rhythm! The Caldwells might say she takes after her Aunt Evelyn ("I've got rhthym, you've got rythmn"). We are so proud.
