Today my big fat mouth was featured figuratively in the Deseret News editorial section. Here's the link http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,695212246,00.html.

It's been the most popular piece on the website all day long. Proof in the pudding that controversy sells. I found out that "I made it"when a coworker emailed me and said, "Is this YOU?" Here are the emotions that I went through today as I first read my article and then the online comments: 1) YES! My point got across to thousands of readers! 2) HEY, wait a minute. They took out some of what I said and then put in a grammatical error that I DID NOT write 3) HUH? People are attacking me? 4) OUCH. That one hurt 5) EESH. This is getting ugly 6) ANYONE FOR HUMBLE PIE? I never intented to judge anyone or be the creator of so much hostility 7) SIGH. The world is an ugly place.

So there you have it. I still believe what I wrote.

Once you start blogging, it's the middle of the night before you know it. Anyway, I have been reviewing everyone else's blogs and I just have to say, WOW. I love reading about you and your families! You all do such a great job.

Before I go to bed I just want to do more thing and try out the video icon that is staring me in the face right now. So this is an old video of Mollie, the bath frog and some hands that get in way, all captured on June 26th. Here goes nothing...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOLLIEPILLAR!!!

We celebrated Mollie's 1st birthday on August 25th with a bug bash. It was a lot of fun! In the true spirit of The Very Hungry Caterpillar (The Growing Molliepillar), we had a bug hunt and bug cupcakes.

Some special gifts were her "wheely bug" and a rocking chair that Grandma Glo gave to Julie when she turned one. Isn't Mollie such a big girl?!

We (primarily Cory) like to think that we are staunch prohibitionists when it comes to Mollie and sugar (as many of you like to mock) so giving Mollie that first handful of cake was pretty monumental. We were worried what that intense amount of sugar would do to her untainted system. We were right to worry because she went crazy. But after she boogied a little on the rocking chair and took a stroll through the cake, she had a look of pure satisfaction that made us think that cake wasn't so bad after all.

Hey All,

This is Cory - my first blog entry ever. It's going to be short. In fact, I'm already done. Bye...
